Ari MARTÍNEZ

Ari MARTÍNEZ

Ari MARTÍNEZ was a postdoctoral fellow in our lab between January and July, 2017, until there was an opening in the Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellow of the University of California, Berkeley, which allowed him to return to his home state. He is an animal ecologist who dips into the realms of behavior and community ecology, and is interested in how signals about food and predators influence how different species interact in space and time.  He primarily works with birds in tropical ecosystems to answer these questions, but he is open to studying animals in a variety of contexts. He is now as Assistant Professor at California State University, Long Beach.
