Kamal Raj GOSAI

Kamal Raj GOSAI earned his Master's degree in Environmental Science in Biodiversity Conservation and Management at Khwopa College, Nepal in 2009, and holds an Assistant Professor position at Tribhuvan University of Nepal. In his previous work, he has studied wildlife rehabilitation and ecotourism development, and has worked on  herpetofauna and large water birds of Nepal, especially the Sarus Crane (Grus antigone antigone). For his PhD study, which he started in September 2018, he is studying different aspects of communication in mixed-species bird flocks under the guidance of Prof. Goodale. He is currently working on a museum study of two laughingthrush species and conducting fieldwork in Nepal about plumage mimicry in flocks.
